My Favorite She's The Man GIFs

*Sigh* Today has been one of those days. I think it's because it's the first Monday after vacation and my teachers are being relentless with schoolwork. And I'm just in a crappy mood. To get myself out of my funk, I looked up funny movie quotes and found these GIFs of one of my favorite movies, She's The Man. I hope these comical pleasures will brighten up your day like they do mine!

My Perfect Disney Vacation

Okay, I can't be the only one that does this, but when I'm bored, I plan these awesome and fantastic fake vacations. I do it mostly for Disney World, because I love it so much. I use the online planning tool and pick out a hotel and dining package with all the bells and whistles just to pretend that I'm going, and then have a laugh when I see how much it costs. Is it just me that does this? Okay, just me; I know I'm weird. (Just for kicks, I priced things out and it would cost nearly $10k to go for 2 weeks with a flight and the special dining package! I think I'm crying) For my Disney week, I figured I would share with you my ultimate Disney vacation.

Hotel:

Coronado Springs Resort

The arch-lined reception area in the lobby of Disney's Coronado Springs ResortThis hotel is GORGEOUS! I remember seeing Samantha Brown walking through it on one of her many Disney travel episodes on her show. (Oh, how I wish I could have her job!) It has a Moorish and Mexican influence in the architecture that I love so much. It's like going to southern Spain without the crazy travel fees and native speakers. My goal in life is to stay at all of the Disney hotels before I die, so this is the next one on my list. It's not too expensive, for the most expensive (and best) time of the year to go, (late November, early December), it's around $190 a night. It's close to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, and not far from Epcot, so it's easy to get to the parks. If I had a few thousand dollars laying around, I would totally book this hotel right now.

Dining:

Cinderella's Royal Table

I've never actually eaten here before, but it's been a childhood dream of mine. You have to reserve a table about 18 months in advance (I'm not joking), so plan ahead for this one. I know the food is supposed to be really delicious, but the most exciting part is that you actually eat in Cinderella's castle! All the princesses join you and Cinderella for a meal you'll never forget. I've always wanted to stay in the Cinderella suite, but if this is as close as I'll get to being in the castle, I'll take it.

Be Our Guest Restaurant

I've never been to this restaurant either because it just opened, but a friend of mine went and she literally said it was magical. I'm literally obsessed with Belle, too, so I can't wait until I can go to Disney again so that I can eat here. You can eat in the ball room or the west wing where the rose is! This is just too cool.

Tony's Town Square Restaurant

For those of you that don't know, Tony's is the restaurant in Lady and the Tramp that Lady and Tramp ate spaghetti in the famous pasta scene. I ate at this restaurant when I was 7 years old and it was awesome. I remember that the fireworks were starting at Magic Kingdom and my family and I ate by the Lady and the Tramp window, watching them. I had pasta to celebrate the occasion and it was so good. Obviously any place you go in Disney will have good food, but this one had some of the best.

Things To Do:

When you go to Disney, obviously you want to experience everything, but more often than not, there isn't enough time. Here are a few activities I totally recommend doing.

  • Visit the World Showcase at Epcot
    • You will not be dissapointed in this. You spend the whole day travelling the world and eating local delicacies.
  • Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Hollywood Studios
    • If you go during the holiday season, this is a must; the lights are so gorgeous.
  • Visit Downtown Disney
    • There are great restaurants like Planet Hollywood and the largest Disney store to do all of your souvenir shopping! If you stay at the Port Orleans or Key West resorts, you can take the ferry straight there.
I hope you enjoyed my dream Disney vacation! If you plan on going in the future, don't fret about the prices. I've priced out cheap vacations for 4 people before and I believe it was around $2,500 for everything for a week!

My Favorite Disney Movies

Surprise! This week is Disney Week! I love everything Disney and this was the perfect theme for a pick me up on The Daily Doozy! I have so many ideas planned for this week. I'm so excited! I think I'm going to do more theme weeks because they are fun for me and I think they help me put out great content.

Today, I have a list of my favorite Disney movies. I remember watching these movies over and over again, and wanting to be all of the characters. As I've gotten older, I can't help but continue to be excited when I watch these movies. It brings back great memories and reminds me of the carefree days (Oh, how I miss those).

The Lion King
The Lion King is probably my favorite movie of all time, to be honest. I always loved singing along to "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" and wishing that I could climb Pride Rock. Lions are also my favorite animal, so basically, this movie has it all for me. Plus, I just couldn't deal with the sassiness of Timon.

Cinderella

This is by far my favorite classic princess movie. I think I've watched it at least 100 times. (I'm not joking). I remember always being bored during the 10 minute long credits; I was just too pumped for the magic! My favorite part was when the stepsisters and Lady Tremont kept calling Cinderella a million times for their breakfasts. I don't know why it was my favorite, but it was. And of course, Prince Charming was as dashing as ever.

The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid was another movie that I binge-watched. I always watched it before I took my afternoon naps when I was younger and I remember one time that my dad forced me to stop the movie in the middle of it for my nap and I was so mad. I refused to sleep during my nap, and as soon as he let me come downstairs, I watched it again. It sounds like a lame story, but hey, I was five and I wanted to watch Ariel get legs. I always liked the part when Ursula turns into that girl and Eric almost marries her on the boat. You gotta love that fairy tale moment!

Frozen

I know this just came out in December, but this seriously is one of Disney's best movies. I'm seventeen years old and I've seen this movie four times since it was released. Not to mention the fact that I listen to the Frozen channel on iTunes Radio and belt it out when I hear "Let It Go" in the car. It not only has an awesome story and a cool location (literally), it has an unbelievably powerful message. And if you can't tell from my movie review of Frozen, the "Let It Go" raving I've done, and my correctly guessed Grammy nominee predictions, I freaking love Frozen. I can't even describe my love for Olaf.

Beauty and the Beast

Beauty is definitely in my top for many reasons. Belle is a brunette and she was the first princess to be brunette, so I was feeling the brunette loving. Secondly, Belle loves to read books and I do too. And finally, the rose was an important symbol and plot point in the movie and my middle name is Rose, so I felt a connection. Clearly, I read way too much into this movie and get too emotionally involved. (Sometimes I forget that I didn't actually do all of the things the characters did!) I think my favorite part was when Belle came out in the beautiful yellow gold dress and the Beast became a hot prince.

There are so many more awesome Disney movies out there that I love, (Shoutout to The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Meet the Robinsons, and The Princess and the Frog!) but these would have to be my all time favorites. Let me know what your favorites are!

My Life As Told By GIFs

To say that my life is crazy and stressful is saying the least. I'm in the home stretch of senior year and it's kicking my ass. I wake up VERY early to finish my homework, go to school, do homework during the day, go to practice, come home and eat, fight with my parents about my future, stay awake all night thinking of everything I need to do, fall asleep doing homework, wake up and set an alarm to do homework early the next morning, and repeat it everyday. It sucks. I have so many things to look forward to like prom, graduation, senior activities, a trip with my mom, and summer, but I'm stuck and overwhelmed in the present. I've got AP tests coming up, prom stuff to figure out, mountains of homework to complete, scholarships to apply for, work, practice, and of course, this blog. I can't focus on anything; I'm too stressed about going to the college I want to attend and all the debt I will accrue and I try to appease myself with Netflix, but that creates a whole host of other problems. Basically, my life is rough right now. And the fact that I'm being hunted down by an assassin (It's a long story- it's a water gun senior assassin tradition) just makes me all the more paranoid and stressed while I'm sitting here at Panera right now.

I feel so bad because I went back on my promise about posting every day. I'm trying my hardest, but I need to try harder. And the kicker is, I've got some great blog ideas, but I just haven't had the time to write them. I do have a special theme week planned for this week, though. It's so magical and awesome; I'm just so excited! But, to show the stress and explain my life to you all, here is a collection of GIFs that basically sum up my life for the last several weeks.

Me Everyday:

When I think about all the things I have to do:

When someone mentions AP tests:

When I remember how much homework I have left to do and it's nearly midnight:

When someone asks me how I'm feeling:

How I try to avoid my stress:

When I acknowledge my stress:

When I think about the future:

But, when I finally get the chance to breathe, I'm all like:

I hope you enjoyed this emotional journey, unlike me. I sincerely, truly promise that I will post everyday this week about my special secret theme! I won't let you down!
