Nail Trends I Want to Try

Over the last couple of years, crazy, complicated and unusual designs have become quite the trend for nails. From chevrons to stripes to multi designed fingers, there are so many possibilities. I've found so many designs on Pinterest, that I have no idea which ones to try first! Some are simple, but others would take forever to do. I always want to get them done at the nail salon, but I have no idea how to tell the nail ladies what I want; I can barely communicate them as it is!

As of now, these are the polish designs I want to try soon. I'm going to get my nails done later this week and I want to try either #1, #4, or #8. Here's my list:

Makeup Looks I Wish I Had The Guts To Try

Us girls are lucky (in some ways) that it is socially acceptable to paint our faces with colorful chemicals . . . I mean use makeup. It can be annoying, time consuming, and expensive, but as much as we complain about it, we loving having it. While some girls look like they've used paintbrushes to apply their makeup, there are the select few aficionados that put all of our techniques and skills to shame. Some makeup artists literally create masterpieces on peoples' faces with minimal effort while I'm still trying to apply liquid eye liner in a straight line. While some looks are easy to create and perfect for everyday wear or sultry for a night out, there are some looks that I am just too scared to try because they are daring to say the least. But, if I had the courage or the event to wear these looks, I totally would.

1.

2.

3.

4.
Queen of Hearts- Eye Makeup I chose this to be the Queen of Heart's eye makeup because it is very dark and regal looking and it fits her personality and character.

Hello! For Therapeutic Thursday, I want to share some everyday makeup looks for your eyes. It can be hard to find looks that are appropriate for school or work and that are easy to achieve. These 3 looks will make you look effortlessly put together in no time!

1.

For this look, use a light brown shimmer eye shadow on your lid and a darker matte brown on your crease and blend. Use a champagne glitter eye shadow in the crease and along the lash line. For this look, apply a shimmery nude or light champagne eye shadow to the lid and inner corner. Use a matte taupe eye shadow on the crease up to the brow bone, blending well. Apply black gel liner to the upper lash line, smudging the outer corner. Apply nude liner to the lower lash line and apply volumizing mascara.

Lazy Girl Hairstyles

Hello! So if you're like me, you give yourself twenty minutes every morning for so because you value sleep more than anything else and you're in a mad rush to look presentable at school. As much as I love to look good at school, I can't bother to straighten or curl my hair in the morning, unless it's some type of dress up or picture day. I make my hair look decent with these 3 quick and easy hairstyles. In honor of midterm week, I thought I'd show you how to dress your tresses for success in less than 3 minutes.

1. Half Up, Half Down Twist

For this hairstyle, all you have to do is take a chunk of your hair (I prefer using a small one) and twist it away from your face until you reach the back of your head. Then secure with two bobby pins and do the same on the other side and you're done!

2. The Gibson Tuck

The Gibson Tuck.

To be honest, I had no idea this style actually had a name and I was shocked to find a picture of it on the internet because I kind of thought I came up with it. *shamefully acknowledges naivety* So, first, you twist back a small chunk of your hair on either side of your head and pull your hair back into a low ponytail. Secure the ponytail loosely and then split the ponytail above the elastic in half. Roll your ponytail up and then stick it through the hole you created above the elastic and tuck it in firmly. I suggest placing bobby pins in to secure it tightly. Loosen your hair around your face and on the back of your head and you're done!

3. Ballerina Bun

For this look, put your hair in a high ponytail and secure it. Then, split the ponytail in half a twist the pieces in on themselves. Take one of the pieces and wrap it in a bun formation around the other piece. Then take the other piece and wrap it the opposite way around the bun. Secure it with bobby pins and you're done!

I hope you liked the quick hairdos for those days you just can't spend time on your hair. (It's like everyday for me!) Don't forget to share this, follow the blog, and follow me on Pinterest! Have a great day!
